We only accept original comment pieces and ask that all submissions comply with the following guidelines:
- Pieces should not exceed 750 words
- Spell out names rather than using acronyms
- Links to further reading are permissible provided they are not commercial in nature
- Generic press releases are not accepted
- Product promotion is not accepted
- Comments about events, such as budgets, sporting occasions and international gatherings, need to be submitted during or very shortly after those events to be considered

Prof Swenja Surminski is Managing Director Climate and Sustainability at global risk management and professional services firm Marsh. She is also Professor in Practice at the Grantham Research Institute, part of the London School of Economics, and the elected Chair of the not for profit MCII, the world’s longest running think tank on climate insurance and resilience solutions for most vulnerable communities, hosted by United Nations University in Bonn.
Professor Tim Congdon is a British economist who contributes regular commentary to Comment Central. His expertise and analysis focus on economic policy matters affecting the United Kingdom. Through his writing on the platform, Congdon offers insights drawing upon his extensive background in economics.
Rachel Hewitt is the Chief Executive of MillionPlus, The Association for Modern Universities.
Rafal Andzejevski is an international entrepreneur and Founder and CEO at PayAlly, a financial services provider.
