Ownership

Comment Central was founded in 2016 by William Walter and relaunched in April 2023 in partnership with John Higginson. It is jointly owned and funded by William Walter and John Higginson. Contributors are unpaid and the site carries no advertising.

Editorial leadership

John Higginson — Editor-in-Chief. A journalist for 15 years before moving into public affairs and PR, including as Political Editor of Metro. Also Editor-in-Chief of Plastic Free Post and a partner at Higginson Strategy.

William Walter — Chairman. Founder of Comment Central and Managing Director of Bridgehead Group; Editor-in-Chief of Cura Insight and a columnist for Caring Times.
