We only accept original comment pieces and ask that all submissions comply with the following guidelines:
- Pieces should not exceed 750 words
- Spell out names rather than using acronyms
- Links to further reading are permissible provided they are not commercial in nature
- Generic press releases are not accepted
- Product promotion is not accepted
- Comments about events, such as budgets, sporting occasions and international gatherings, need to be submitted during or very shortly after those events to be considered

Saman Rizwan is an analyst of South Asian affairs and a former researcher at the Centre for Strategic and Contemporary Research and the National Dialogue Forum.
Samiksha Bhattacharjee is the Head of LOLA UK and the President of the University College London Libertarian Society. She is a Young Voices UK contributor, and you can find more of her work at Samiksha’s State of the Debate.
Samuel Jardine is an experienced geopolitical consultant specialising in strategic competition, space, the polar regions, and the seabed. He is the Head of Research at London Politica, a Senior Advisor at Luminint, a Research Fellow at the Foresight Institute, and a Research Associate of the Climate Change & (In)Security Project.
Samuel Martin is a freelance journalist covering politics, society, and global affairs.
Sarah Gibson MP is a British Liberal Democrat politician who has represented Chippenham in Parliament since the 2024 general election. Born in April 1966, she built her political career at the local level before entering Westminster, having served on Wiltshire Council following her elections in 2017 and 2021. Her experience in local government provided her with detailed knowledge of constituency concerns and regional policy issues affecting Wiltshire.
As the Member of Parliament for Chippenham, Gibson brings her background in local authority work to her parliamentary duties, drawing on the insights gained during her years representing communities at council level. She contributes commentary and analysis to Comment Central, sharing her perspective on political developments and policy matters from her position as a Liberal Democrat MP.
