We only accept original comment pieces and ask that all submissions comply with the following guidelines:
- Pieces should not exceed 750 words
- Spell out names rather than using acronyms
- Links to further reading are permissible provided they are not commercial in nature
- Generic press releases are not accepted
- Product promotion is not accepted
- Comments about events, such as budgets, sporting occasions and international gatherings, need to be submitted during or very shortly after those events to be considered

Professor Gary Wynn Yohe is the Huffington Foundation Professor of Economics and Environmental Studies at Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut, where he specialises in environmental economics and climate policy. He earned his doctorate from Yale University and has built his academic career at the intersection of economics and environmental studies, bringing rigorous economic analysis to questions of environmental policy and climate change.
Throughout his tenure at Wesleyan University, Professor Yohe has established himself as a leading voice in applying economic principles to environmental challenges, particularly those related to climate science and policy responses. His work combines theoretical economics with practical policy considerations, examining how societies can best respond to environmental risks and climate-related challenges. Professor Yohe writes commentary for Comment Central, sharing his expertise on economic and environmental policy matters with a wider audience.
Professor Geeta Nargund is a Senior NHS Consultant, Co-founder of the Ginsburg Women's Health Board, and Chair of The Pipeline, a leading gender diversity consultancy.
Paul Baines is Professor of Political Marketing and Head of Executive Education at the University of Leicester’s School of Business, a co‑director of the Help to Grow programme. He holds advanced degrees from the University of Manchester and other institutions, is a frequent media commentator, and has served in local government including as Mayor of Charnwood.
Professor Ruth Sutton is a Barrister and Head of School of Law and Social Justice at The University of Chester.
Professor Tim Congdon is a British economist who contributes regular commentary to Comment Central. His expertise and analysis focus on economic policy matters affecting the United Kingdom.
