Stuart Paul Anderson is a British Conservative Party politician who has represented South Shropshire as Member of Parliament since 2024. Born on 17 July 1976, Anderson first entered Parliament in 2019 when he was elected MP for Wolverhampton South West, a seat he held until 2024. During his parliamentary career, he has held several significant positions within government and opposition, serving as Vice-Chamberlain of the Household from November 2023 to July 2024 and subsequently as shadow Minister for Defence from July to November 2024.
Through these roles, Anderson has developed expertise in defence policy whilst also gaining experience in the whips' office as Vice-Chamberlain. His political career has seen him represent two distinct constituencies in the West Midlands and Shropshire, giving him insight into both urban and rural policy challenges.
