Nicholas Chkhaidze is a national security and strategic communications expert and international political consultant based in Tbilisi, Georgia. His work focuses on Eurasian geopolitics, security, sanctions evasion, sanctions enforcement, Russian hybrid warfare and influence operations. He previously served with the Henry Jackson Society’s Russia and Eurasia Studies Centre, Topchubashov Center, Strategic Security Initiative, and NATO’s Public Diplomacy Division.

His analysis has been featured in The National Interest, the Atlantic Council, US National Defense University, the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, Fox News, France 24, Jamestown Foundation, The Times, European Centre of Excellence for Countering Hybrid Threats, E-International Relations, The Kyiv Independent, Kyiv Post, Euromaidan Press, and other publications.

He analyzes how authoritarian regimes maintain power and evade accountability — from sanctions circumvention networks to influence operations across post-Soviet Eurasia. As an international political consultant, his work translates complex regional dynamics into analysis that policymakers, think tanks, and strategic clients can actually use.
