Michael Whitney Freer, born 29 May 1960, is a British Conservative Party politician and former banker who represented Finchley and Golders Green as Member of Parliament from 2010 until standing down in 2024. During his parliamentary career, he served as Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Courts and Legal Services from September 2022 to July 2024, focusing on justice policy and the legal system.

Before entering Westminster, Freer built significant experience in local government as leader of Barnet Council and as a councillor for the St Paul's and Finchley Church End wards.
