Thank you for your interest in Comment Central.
We only accept original comment pieces and ask that all submissions comply with the following guidelines:
- Pieces should not exceed 750 words
- Spell out names rather than using acronyms
- Links to further reading are permissible provided they are not commercial in nature
- Generic press releases are not accepted
- Product promotion is not accepted
- Comments about events, such as budgets, sporting occasions and international gatherings, need to be submitted during or very shortly after those events to be considered

Saeed Atcha, born in July 1996, serves as Chief Executive of Youth Leads UK, a youth-led charitable organisation. He holds the position of Deputy Lieutenant of Greater Manchester, a role recognising his contributions to the region and community service. Atcha is also a Commissioner on the Social Mobility Commission, where he works on policy and initiatives aimed at improving opportunities for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to progress in education and employment.
Through his leadership of Youth Leads UK and his work with the Social Mobility Commission, Atcha has established himself as a prominent voice on issues affecting young people, particularly in areas of social mobility, youth empowerment and regional development. His dual roles in civic leadership and social policy reflect his commitment to creating pathways for the next generation. Atcha writes commentary for Comment Central.
Saman Rizwan is an analyst of South Asian affairs and a former researcher at the Centre for Strategic and Contemporary Research and the National Dialogue Forum.
