The International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) has appointed David Antia as Director of Transformation.

David has previously served as a management consultant for the world's leading consulting powerhouses including Ernst and Young and Deloitte, working on large scale transformation programmes across five industries (financial services, asset management, energy, pharmaceuticals, and telecommunications) and over 10 countries. His expertise lies in Strategic Transformation, Operating Model Design, Value Streat Re-engineering, Change Management and Program Management. His expertise extends into academia, having recently completed his second master's degree in International Relations at the University of Cambridge.

David will be integral in introducing industry best practices, coaching ICC staff on transformation, fast-tracking change initiatives and supporting the institutional representative of over 45 million companies worldwide to "make business work for everyone, every day, everywhere".

Commenting on his appointment, David Antia said:

"ICC plays a significant role in world commerce as the voice of the real economy. Through its work to grow the global economy, revive global trade and advance sustainability, ICC has impact at local as well as global level from resolving commercial disputes to supporting global efforts to streamline customs and border procedures. ICC's inclusive and multilateral approach works effectively to address global challenges and goals.

"As a strong believer in global trade and a great admirer of ICC's ambition and purpose, I am excited to work within an institution that creates opportunities for all and that enables businesses worldwide.

"As the Director of Transformation based at ICC Global Headquarters in Paris, I truly share ICC values and relish the opportunity to support ICC's purpose to enable business to secure peace, prosperity and opportunity for all."

"I look forward to joining an exceptionally talented and committed team under the leadership of ICC Secretary General John W.H. Denton AO, who is a visionary and an exceptional leader who goes the extra mile for his ICC team and working partners.

"Through my experience as a management consultant for the world's leading consultancies in which I worked with clients across a number of industries, I witnessed the power international commerce has to lift people out of poverty. I hope to continue my success as an advisor, having assisted some of the biggest brands with their transformation journeys, as well as operating model design, change management, value stream improvement and regulatory compliance. These skills will be integral in my new role, furthering my ability to enact real change and embed a culture of continuous improvement".

"As the 'go-to' institution for global trade policy, globally recognized rules, and dispute resolution, ICC appeals to my interest in international politics and trade.

David Antia has been appointed Director of Transformation at the International Chamber of Commerce.

"The institutional functions of ICC at an international level, including its United Nations Observer Status, ensures that the voice of business is represented within global governance structures and forums. I am delighted to have the opportunity to contribute to an organisation that adds so much value and represents world business effectively.

"I believe my extensive background in consulting and transformation leadership, combined with my expertise in international relations, will have an immediate impact on ICC and enabling it to fast-track its current change and transformation initiatives. I look forward to playing my part in promoting an inclusive and sustainable economic growth for all businesses and to steering ICC to new heights."
